I think the way to read this hour meter means more than 600 hours on this machine Is the limit 600 that can be read ?

I believe it works like a clock.
Either that or it'll just blow up and take out a city block... But I think it's like a clock.

Thanks guy's , just looking for a way to keep track for oil changes Manual states 25 hrs , so not sure yet how much use this will get

I change mine yearly on any that I run more than just to shows. The others, (and I hate to admit it) I go by color.
Find it's easier than trying to keep track of the ones that do have meters, the ones that don't, etc
