Looks to be in great shape. I have gone farther for worse. I would go for it, it looks to be a reasonable price.

I guess that all depends on just how bad you want it.

Wow! Pretty nice looking, Price is more than fair. Heck, for that price I'd cross barbbed wire, machine gun fire and 20 miles of broken beer bottles. The new Kohler 20 is worth half the price of it. Go for it!! Good Luck!

I would be surprised it that unit is still available, considering the price asked.

The tiller alone is worth $400.00 if it is in good shape.

The F-27 sleeve hitch adapter is worth $125.00

If it has the correct PTO valve, that is worth $200.00

If it has the correct 3 pt hitch for a 600 series, I would want $450.00 to $500.00 for it.

Therefore, I see $1200.00 in value in just those items.

With those items stripped off the tractor, you are left with a 646 loader with a brand new Kohler. Try and buy that engine for less than $1000.00 from any of the well-known engine places such as Small Engine Warehouse. It can't be done. Yes the paint is wrong and it sucks to see a 646 painted that way . A complete, running 646 loader/backhoe in decent shape will easily bring $4000.00 all day, any day and it would be a bargain at that price. A three hour drive to get it and a three hour drive to bring it home is chump change both in time spent and out of pocket cost.

And that's why I think that it will be long gone before you get your act together and realize that you are looking a gift horse in the mouth with this one. Even if you don't need it, buy it, put it together and then sell it. But once you do put it together and use it, I think that someone will have to pry it from your cold dead hands.

Old post update, I picked this tractor up over a year ago, son backed it off the trailer and before I knew it he was cutting with it. The only thing that has been done was a good overall check, and oil changes since that time. Didn't even need any wiring work, and it was more like 12 hours r/t but still one of the best deals I have found, think I payed 400 with a deck & blade

Where's the pics? :wewantpics: :picsoritsnotyours:

The first two on left is youngest son the day we brought 224 home, the other is just the 224 and 446 together, and the other two are my wife's first time ever driving a tractor(446) Ace was keeping an eye on her.

I just noticed, she has no shoes on, I knew she's a red neck at heart :dancingbanana:
