Looks like it's going to get mighty chilly up Minneapolis way this weekend! Some of you folks will have a HIGH of around -11° (-24C) on Monday! Just a little to chilly for me. I'm ready to go to South Texas right now!

Tickets for Sunday's playoff game between the Vikings and Seahawks are going as cheap as $65. Which they should, it takes a lot of alcohol to forget it's 3° outside for 200 straight minutes.

We had -11* F, last night. It went up to 30*F toady. Supposed to get a little warmer tomorrow and then back down to near ) this weekend. Heck here in Michigan this time of year we just put a sweater on over our T shirts and a pair of boots on so our feet don't get cold when we go out for a walk with our shorts on. Stay warm Yall. stay safe.                                                                                                                                                                                                             Roger

Low of -48°!! It was around zero here last night and windy, and that's even cold when you have to work out in it.

Sounds like we are going to be just barely above zeroF for highs next weekend. Will be working out in it. Our first snow from November is still on the ground and it's looking like it will be until spring thaw.

The older I get the less cold I can handle.  If the wind isn't lowing it helps but not much.  Darn fireplace don't want to burn this morning either.  heck with it, let it go out and start over this afternoon.  Corn stove is shut down for cleaning so guess the furnace will have to run an extra time ore two this morning.  29° F so not bad.
