Stupid mice

When they tore the grain elevator down 11/2 miles from the old farm we had a HUGE influx of rats and mice. It took two years and constant work to get rid of them,(rats) and of course we were never free of mice. A combination of good cats, great rat dogs and judicious use of poison did the trick. Now I keep a bucket trap for mice in the hen house and chop bin and keep the mice under control that way---- Heaven forbid the cats go out that far in the winter, lol. I can picture them writing the letter to PETA. as I type this!   :D
