I've spent a ton of time searching and can't find another tractor like this one I have manuals that put it about 1974. Any information about it would be greatly appreciated.

:wave:  Welcome to the forum! I'd say it is MTD built. I like the seat cover you got from Red Green! That's pretty much a Lawn Tractor.

But lawn tractors were a lot strong built back then and MTD was a different company. MTD was competing with the other GT companies back then. This model would have competed against the Wheel Horse Lawn Ranger,the John Deere 60,70,100,the Simplicity (and Allis equivalent) Broadmoor models,etc. The was the small version of MTD that they offered. The line went and thru the 990 models. Here is a 990 version that I had.
