I picked this up off Craigslist today. It is brand-new it has a 3.5 bore and a 2-7\8 stroke.measured with a ruler. I think it is a hh150 ? Anyway any info would be great

I don't think it is an hh looks like an oh block where that tape is is where the push rods come out for the overhead valves should be a number stamped on the bottom left corner of the flywheel side or pto side. Let me know what it is.

If my memory serves me right the oh160 has a 3.583" bore that is probably what you have there. They make a oh180,and 140 also. But that bore is the oh160 I believe

Found a chart in a post from DH1 from 2013 and the oh150 and the oh160 Both had a (3.50) 3 1/2 bore and  (2.875) 2 7/8 stroke and both are 27.66 ci displacement

 

The oh180 has the same (2.875) 2 7/8 stroke but a larger (3.625) 3 5/8 bore and 30 ci displacement

I believe some OHV engines were labeled as "HH."  I know the Tec in my Case skidder is an overhead labeled "HH."

I also got a new Briggs #491042 short block. I know it is a i/c engine but that's it, anybody know anything about it?

Also the gasket kit that came with the Tecumseh is SBH- 3260;i had no luck finding that on the web.thanks drbish for info

I got more info today.bore is 3.5 stroke..2 7\8 . #16 stamped in corner.crank 1 1\8x4. IT HAS A TAG!!!!! Tag says serial 7079e.....sbh 326c.
