On mine there are four choices for cookies;
Always block
Allow on sight I'm on
Allow on sights I visit
Always allow

Shouldn't I always block?

No, then it will do what's happening.
If you accidental mistype a lot of websites, then option 2
If you can get the website name right and are willing to at least proof read it before you click enter, then option 3

Alan is right.  If you block all of the cookies then you will get the behavior that you are not wanting. You can block third party cookies if you have that option.  I do that on all my browsers. I was thinking there is an option to delete cookies, history etc on closing the browser that would be the option that would cause your behavior as well.

I thought all apple products allowed you to upgrade to the latest OS?  That maybe what you need to do.  Alan could probably advise you better since he uses their products.

>sighhhh<

Yournot going to believe what I've done. Rem34mber my 'puter is dead. I found an outstanding up date on my controls. Update from 8.1 to 9.2. Sooooo. . .  I punched it in and let 'er rip. When it finished up dating, I just had to sign in my name and password to finish. Ummmmmh. . .   I forgot my password, go to email to get a newe password. I can't go to email, my computer is dead and this tablet won't back up. I'm down at the library writing this- I got my email with the new pass. It said to tap here to go back to . . .       .

I got the phone number for Apple customer service. If you never hear from me again, I'm out walking with Maynard.

My knees are shaking and I wet myself, but I'm back in business. The customer service was able to guide me in getting a new password through my wife's iPad. My tablet is upgraded to 9.2. I'll have to get used to that.

It's a breeze if you have your ID and password in hand.

By the road, Alan? when we were done, I asked the rep about my problem losing my log in all the time. Now when l go to settings and then to iCloud, there is a line titled keychain. He said that has to be turned on.
