I'm a little late to this post because I'm new. Did you post the pics in a different post? I was under the impression that the 265/285 were more the Home Depot type tractors. I didn't realize they compared to the older 140/300 series.

Here is a pic that I found. These were definitely NOT sold at big-box stores.

That was probably top of the line for a 200 series GT at the time. A nice sturdy GT and you don't see many of them. A local mall has a 265 that they use for grounds upkeep. It looks very similar. Nice tractor!
