Anyone is interested in attending a Missouri Garden Tractor Plow day this fall? I have arranged an annual Plow Day for Garden Tractor enthusiasts of all brands starting this fall. The plow day will held on the rich Missouri river bottoms in historic Marthasville MO. We have access to as much high quality plow ground as we need, and the area has lots of wineries, B&B's, flea markets, the Katy trail, and shops of all sorts very near by. The only caveat is that for those who wish to plow, we have to join the Missouri 2 cylinder club. The dues are only $20 per year and the club has many shows and activities throughout the year, as well as a news letter that goes out to all members every 30 days or so. The reason we have to join the club is because the club carries the insurance that protects the landowners for the plow day and shows. The next show/meeting is in Union MO. on May 7-8 on the parking lot of

Mistler's Oak Furniture
601 N Highway 47
Union MO.

There will be a tractor show, and I think an antique truck show there and lots more. I will be there on the 7th, and may be there on the 8th as well with a couple of my tractors and this is where you can sign up and hear more details. I will have a sign that says "Garden Tractor Plow Day" so look me up if you are interested. I hope to see some of you on there. Adam

I don't think when they planned this show they realized it was mothers day weekend. At least it is a 2 day event so hopefully some of you can make it at least one of those days. The show actually starts at 10:00am each morning. If you plan on showing some of your tractors, or if you would like to join the club, I would suggest being there around 9:00am. I will be there with a sign that says "GARDEN TRACTOR PLOW DAY" so look for me. I plan on bringing my 317 set up for plowing, and my 430 just because it's a 430! There will be security at this event so if you bring a tractor to show and would like to leave for a while, or even overnight I have been told that your tractor will be safe. I will see you there. Adam

The plow day is in the fall, I think October. With the spring weather, the fall makes more sense. Adam

Chuck, will you be atending the show/meeting May 7-8? At this meeting we will get more details, and it will be a great tractor show. Either way I will report all the details, but I would love to see you there. Adam

Chuck, remember only members of the 2 cylinder club will be able to plow. You will have to join this club prior to the plow day. The dues are $20 per year and include a newsletter every month. Adam

Just a quick update on the show/meeting this weekend. For those of you that are attending this show, they are also having a flea market or swap meet so if you have any tractor related or farming stuff you would like to sell bring it with you. Remember the show actually starts at 10:00am each morning. If you plan on showing some of your tractors, or if you would like to join the club, I would suggest being there around 9:00am. I will be there with a sign that says "GARDEN TRACTOR PLOW DAY" so look for me. I look forward to meeting some of you guys, this is going to be fun! Adam
