This snow had not been cleaned with in the last two storms. Blew the snow from beside the trailer, with the JD 140, on top of the snow not moved yet. MF 12 thrower worked great, had to slow down a litte, but had no problem going thru the packed snow, and in front of the house, by Frankie, had no trouble at all. So, I believe the extra paddles help. It does not throw any farther, but the engine is not working as hard.

That's quite a pile and it's Early  in the season!  What's that lonely guy with blade buried in snow?  He wants to help, feeling left out. Get a son or G-son to come use it, just for fun?  Are you tired of it yet?  I like about first three times, then it is old and Work.

Thanks for the update. I guess it makes sense that the motor wouldn't be working as hard since there is less snow on the paddle each time it has to push it up the chute. I am about to go out and clear snow in a few minutes. We did not get as much as the first big storm this year, but I think it is here to stay this time.

Another few days and Frankie will be ready for work. I'll take the Christmas lights off of him and put them away. Your right GL, he's lonely and cold. Not for much longer.
