Have new puter, W10. I can post fine till I try to put in a smiley.  What might the deal be on that? At times it is also slow to make the posting and other times it's instant.  Something in my settings here blocks those additions or you guys again? Scared what I might put up? Heh!

Are they lit up in the reply or are they dead? The first button on the top left of the reply turns them on and off.

gl, try running ccleaner.  Once in a while I get a window that says it cannot process my vote when I click on the thanks box.  ccleaner takes care of it.

I have problems with the site hanging up sometimes and doesn't look like it posted but refreshing the page shows it's there. I always blame it on security settings. Don't know if that's the real cause but it sounds good!

Grumpy, what type on internet connection do you have? IE, Cable, DSL, Satellite, dial up.  Windows 10 phone home to mama features are turned on by default and they could be causing your problem.
