Coming home from my little ones Grandma, that lonesome pine in the first pic was my and my siblings landmark 40+ yrs ago to let us know we were almost to our Grandma's house , now it's hers letting her know the same

Second pic panoramic around our lake and the Christmas lights trees hope (have too blow it up to see them)

Reminds me of that old Country song, "Neith The Old Lonesome Pine".  We had frost on the all the trees and bushed all day today.  Been watching the Eagle check out the deer carcasses out in the field.  Neighbor brought 4 up for critter and eagle feed.

If that's the same sunset I saw tonight, that red was so vibrant, it made me stop and notice...
I couldn't believe how pretty it was.

What town in NW PA was that?

Sure it was, closest would be Townville ( where I grew up) it's setting on Rt 408 looking down Lyona rd. Crappy IPhone camera did not do it justice it was a beaut

My grandparents house was roughly at the intersection of 408 & 428

As for Lyona Rd, been past John Brown's tannery many times
