I just joined the forum after I bought a Bolens 1886 a few days ago. I saw where the forum supports lots of different GTs so I thought I'd post a few pics of my current project, a Cub Cadet 106, purchased 3 months ago. Its in the middle of a frame off restoration. I gotta get it finished so I can use it to mow with in the Spring!

My 106...

Slide a belly mount under that cub in the background and have a real mowing machine.

Welcome to the forum.
Good luck on your restoration.
What year is your Cub? By the looks of the grill it is an early one. We had a 1948. I kinda miss it now.
Looking forward to more pics of your 106 as you make progress. Rick

Thank you to all for the warm welcome! Yeah, the 106 looked good and ran pretty good, I just like to tinker with old tractors and make 'em look new. The mule drive needed replacing when I got it - the mounting rod that holds the pullys was bend and almost worn through - it wouldn't hold the belt on. Thats all good now with a find on eBay.
No, no creeper gear.
The Cub is a '51. I got it about a year and a half ago and did a frame off on it last Spring. Runs like a champ. I use it for an acre garden I mess with and to plow and disc a neighbor's garden. It is strictly a drawbar tractor with a Touch Control hydraulic to lift the plow and disc. It's my favorite.
I'll post more pics of the 106 as it come along. I'm doing a light restoration with some mods on it. Just having fun with it!
