I was screening eBay for Bolens stuff and came across this cart that seemed in decent shape for the price, I looked up the location and it was nowhere near me (8 hour drive) so this was a no go.
A week later, out of coincidence, I had to go to Vineland New Jersey for work, it was 20 minutes from the sellers location. Made an offer, he accepted and ended up with a cart for 95$.

It's in ok shape, the wheels/tires have been replaced but the rest seems original. It's a bit smaller than I expected so I'm not sure it will replace my 17cu/f Ohio steel trailer though.

I believe it's the original tailgate but not sure.

Wow, that is a cool find! It sure appears to have led a relatively easy life. Not very common for a yard cart!

It's a good find, I'm happy I could pick it up without having to do much of a detour, although I would not have normally driven there for work - would have normally taken a flight.

There was also another cart in much nicer shape going for 49$ on ebay but it was located in California and fastenal wanted 165$ to bring it my way.

Nice find !

I don't remember those type of wheels on a Bolens Dump Cart.

Were they used in later production, or is this NOT a # 16459 cart ?????

Bruce, these wheels are replacements, they still have the sticker on them probably HF wheel/tire combo.
