Finding rust free square body panels is about impossible here. I've been on the search for a truck with a solid cab and bed for a restore project for me and my son. I've yet to find one.

That is the problem with living in the rust belt. Down here I have bought near rust free trucks for scrap price and mad ea good pile of cash parting them.

If I get more serious I'll have to extend my search down along your way. My son is 2. Figured I'd start looking now Incase I find a good deal.

Up here a true southern rust free truck is on craigslist for 8,000 bucks. Not sure if they are selling or not

I am just now finding this post. Nice work. I like those old square bodies.

Too bad about the rusted front end. I had the same problem a couple of years ago. A guy was sellng a front end and door for a 94 Chevy with flames and everything. I got up there and he had sold the doors ( I told him I wanted) and the front clip was rusted. I walked away.

I had 4 of those front ends at one time I would have sold you cheap. Completely rust free. Sold them all to a body shop.

I would have Been all over it if you still had them but I'm to far away

A truck with good bed and a cab with good floors rockers and cab corners. The rest can be replaced easily enough.

This one looks to be fairly solid. All you have to do is come down and get it.
