Your not reading the ad correctly . What he's saying is he sold off all the  attachments , their mounting hardware , lift and any pulleys that he could . Now you can only use if for " show "

Are you sure that is a "Show" tractor? It looks like what they list as a "race" tractor around here :loosing_it:

Fresh paint! Show tractor? I've painted stuff that looked better than that while drunk with rattle cans from the dollar store! What a joke. Wonder if he would drop 1000 off the price?

I see a lot of Bolens all over that machine and some parts like the fender pan that is not there.  I wouldn't give $200 for it as parts are to hard to come by in this area.

All I see is a $40 muffler with rain cap The rest of it needs some serious help to say the least.

Looks like a 1966? Bolens 650 That's definitely a small older briggs engine.I recognize that governor linkage box anywhere.

That right there I why I get really steamed when I see people painting tractors in some other brand's colors.

Somewhere along the line someone that doesn't have a knowledge of the various brands ends up buying it thinking that it is the band that it's painted as, and not the original.

I saw a very good case of that at a show last summer where a guy pulled up on his "It's the only one I've ever seen" JD articulated mower.

He was pretty disappointed when I told him that it was a Bolens Frame steer and not a JD.

Someone had done a VERY good job of painting it and putting JD decals on it.  To the unknowing, it did look like it was a JD product.
