Today I took a short road trip up to Rick Shows to pick up some Bolens stuff and to drop off a Bolens for forum member Wrenchingonit.

I came home with a largeframe dual rear tire kit and also a NOS tube of Bolens gear oil. The dual tire kit will be going on my 1250 after I find a tire or 4 tires and the gear oil is a cool shelf piece.

Nice pickups!

Are you going to use that gear oil or save as a collectors item?

I'm going to save it. It will look cool on a shelf with some of my other Bolens stuff.

Not that I necessarily need it, but did they make a dual tire kit that will fit my 1050?

I don't believe Bolens ever offered a dual tire kit for the tubeframes. There are several options available to put duals on your 1050 though.

There was a dual wheel setup for the tube frames but it wasn't like the one for the large frames.

Here's a page from the  Brochure that shows it:

That's pretty cool. I can't say I've seen a tubeframe with cab enclosure either.

I have heard that rumor before but nobody's ever found anything that was exact to them as far as I know
