Nothing wrong with that color.  Reminds me of "Burnt Orange Metallic" that I painted my Gold Wing motorcycle about 15yrs ago.  Sold that bike several years back.

I can't wait to see it assembled!  Even better I would love to see a video of it making a run down the track with smoke pouring out the exhaust!  Excellent work.

Buffed the hood today before the clear coat gets too hard. Pretty neat color I like it.

So time to get to the heart of the build the Kubota D1105T. I have a low hour engine that I have had since it was new so I know it has been well maintained. Some of the things I will be doing are removing the water pump and putting a electric pump, injection pump mods for more fuel, governor changes for more RPM, porting and buffing the head, a bigger turbo, water injection, shimming valve springs, replacing head bolts for stronger studs, billet flywheel to replace the stock cast one. The 1105 turbo model like this already has a cam with a wider duration also steel reinforced piston ring grooves so wont touch these things for now.

So far I have the governor mods  done. I replaced the stock spring with a heavier one, and I also drilled the weights on the governor to lighten them up.Looking to get around 6500 rpm.  The head has been ported just waiting on valve spring shims to get it back together. The injection pump and injectors are done and have more than three times the stock output. I made a plate that will bolt in place of the water pump and it has a bulkhead barb fitting that will take the 3/4 hose from the electric water pump.
