With a new push rod and prop gapped points your timing will be factory spec

Thanks for the tip Mike. I have the new points and push rod ordered. What you are saying makes a lot of sense. There is only one adjustment for both gap and timing- so with a new rod and points the proper gap setting should yield correct timing. I am assuming that cam wear is not significant.
