Hey guys I picked this up today for free. I got the motor on my work bench. And got it running . Do you guys know what this is and what year about. I got the two sickle bars with it a clipper type mower and a plow. And does anyone have one like it or pictures so I know how to hook it up after I paint it. I can get more pics in the morning. I have the wheels and tires too they are a 3 bolt wheel

1941 Sears Handiman Jr.

Engine should be a Briggs model U with a funky stand up fuel tank.

The sickle mower pictured is for a post WWII David Bradley.

[edit]  That is an awesome find especially if it has the correct engine.

Thank you I figured it was a handy man bud I have never seen one that small. I guess that is why it is a jr. I do believe that it is the original engine. It is a briggs u model. I pulled off the head to check the condition of the cylinder everything looked good in there so I put a gasket in and put it back together . Did some other small things to the motor and started it on my workbench . It seemed to run pretty good. I assume it doesn't have reverse? I have to makeep two linkage rods for the controls.

I got it figuring , it get it running and working good and sell it. Maybe I will like it but I probably will sell it. I like my 4 wheeled tractors. Could use the money for those projects.
