Have a quit evening watching TV when a loud clap of thunder, hard flashes of lightening and started to rain like crazy.  Hard rain a couple time between 8:30 and 9:15.  Weather station is showing about .23" so far and still raining.  2 power glitches that shut down everything.  And this is December ? ?  What a screwed up year weather wise.  How we can get back to normal in a couple weeks.

Crazy weather for sure!

I rode motorcycle today, middle of December and not only wasn't wearing a coat,  I wasn't even wearing a shirt!

I'll take this every winter... no OT at work when the plows don't run but I can sure do without the salt and brine on the roads... I rewired a car trailer in the driveway this morning, then did the  last leaf harvest of the season, and got rid of them with a ditch fire ha ha/ then cleaned the gutters on the garage off a ladder  not often I do that in mid December hope we get a little snow though because now that the leaves are gone I'm gonna try the overseeding my lawn while the ground is still soft, and let any snow that we get  soak it in, trick and see how that works,,,,

Dodge Trucker, your going about it the best way.  A good snow on top of fresh seeding is the best there is.  Plenty of moisture and covered to keep it from drying out or blowing away.  Wouldn't hurt to roll the seeding before the snow either.  Press it down good and smooth the lawn up good too.  Thinking of rolling mine today as the drum is full of water yet.

I may have to break out the Simplicity, the lawn is greening up and is growing on the south side of the shed. WTH.

yeah I heard someone out on a mower yesterday while out cleaning gutters, was thinking about running the gas out of my push mowers just to chop up the last few leaves....

60's here too. Union had party and most were outside on platform, no coats, was nice.  They had four heaters out there ready to go, but sure didn't need to light them up. Today now still warm, kinda wettish tho.  Gonna just bumb-around today, have to go to work early tonight. Need those trucks built!
