Man! YOU ARE NUTS if you think you found something Neat! Like first post asked, what's the deal, an old tank on a hood, and not even fastened nice either. I don't see way to save any of that. MAYBE, the little saddles that tank set on, Maybe! There was just an ad on here for a small tank like that I think. Check out for sale section. You have disease and now going into Stage 4! Saving it, ......still laughin OK, I'm done, insight from the Dark Side again.

You have to be a collector to appreciate the find, this is a rare accessory for the Bolens
A different tank just wont do if you collect this stuff and want an OEM accessory.

At least you have the straps, may be able to sub in a tank that's PDC.

All this hup-to-do about a busted up tank on a old hood and nobody is saying what it is beside some kind of duster. April fools is a ways off yet. Practicing up?

OK. So it is a Blitz Fog. What does it do, drip diesel fuel or oil into the engine to make a fog as you run? Or maybe just drips it on the hot muffler? Tank ain't big enough to fog mosquitoes. I give up. Next question.

Oh, lookee: We've got a set of twins separated at birth. Took 75 years to get them back together and they haven't figured it out yet.
Aren't we the lucky ones.......
