So did bolens make these? If bolens did what year? I don't see them listed in my service school books anywhere but as you can see in the photos there in my engineering changes I have.

Nice catch. Another Bolens mystery. Perhaps a late production run due to a design change in regards to the hydro package? Maybe a short production run off to deplete left over stock? It's hard telling. The service school books are a great resource reference, but as we both know they weren't always 100% accurate. The funny thing is, I also do not see any reference to a 1456-04 parts manual, nor have I found anything in the service bulletins referencing anything for it. I may have to break out the old micro-fiche....

I have about every service school from 1969 to 1994 but 75,76, and 78 and they all have some mixed info in them and it seems to get worst when you move into the later years.

Here is the H16 info has some of the same changes as the H14.

No nothing on the  H14 or H16.

That would only be on the G14?  One sec I got something on that but its not to green and its crossed out.

So far I have found...... nothing  :wallbanging:    Absolutely nothing. The engineering change was dated 10-30-75, so that should be for the 1976 tractors, but all 1456 tractors built in '76 are listed as 1456-03, which is also supposedly the last year for the H14. I was hoping to find something in a service bulletin or parts bulletin, as there should be an updated part # for the longer suction tube as listed in the ECN. Perhaps the H14 was simply discontinued before the -04 production series even began. We'll likely never know.
