I'm already done with winter :D   2 mornings of thawing rabbit water bottles and busting up ice in water buckets is for the birds. I have to carry water to since I do not have any at barn, sucks! :wallbanging:

It was fairly warm yesterday, but a little rainy. Still nice to work outside on a winter day on Jan 9.

Woke up this morning to a whole nother story, wind whipping, snow flying (sideways at times) temps at 30* and our first laying snow fall of 2015-2016 winter here in the great northern region of Cincinnati.

These are at about 8 am, our security light is still on

It's down to just below 16° (-9C) here right now. Luckily not much wind! Coldest day this year so far!

I gotta run out today and stock up on "bread and milk", we are supposed to get 2" of snow in the morning.

The first snow of the year is always fun :wallbanging: , everyone has completely forgotten how to drive in it from just last winter.

That's what I'm talking about!

We already had our first "winter" in December we got a decent amount of ice, and people were piled up along interstate 70.  Hopefully that reminded them how to drive...although yesterday it was sleeting and dropping below 32 with 20mph wind gusts.  We were coming home from the mall, and I slowed down a little bit(to the speed limit) and I was getting passed by people going 80MPH.  Doesn't take long for ice to form...

I had to switch from shorts and T to long pants and a jacket Sunday, it stayed in the 40's all day.
