Is this going to be just a blade or a box blade?

There have been several threads on this topic and there may be plans in the Manuals Section but I'm not sure. Please post picks of your progress so that we all may learn together. I've got a home made blade that came with a bunch of things I bought. I will try to get some picks of it for you. Good Luck, Rick

Try this as a starting point: http://gardentractor...ox-blade-plans/

If you want a sleeve hitch:  http://gardentractor...ve-hitch-plans/   and   http://gardentractor...ift-link-plans/    this will allow the use of commercial blades.

Snow blade? Think on front is best and should be common. If you want box, then must be diff. I think it is easier to find an old blade, whether from front or rear off any good tractor and make mounts for that. Just using the curved blade and that would have the top edge formed and any braces, plus the wear bar for the bottom already on.  I have postings on here on a box blade I made from a rear blade already done by adding sides and top bar for the teeth. You can get teeth for it from Rural King or AGC (Agri-supply) catalog for less than $20 a piece and in many sizes. The mount for mine was just a 3pt. If you don't have that, have no idea where to start on a mount, but should be rigid, these take a lot of punishment.
