I have three computers that are kind of under my "protection"
Mine,
Mom's
Ryan's

They all have pics and video on them and I want to back all this up on one external hard drive.
The hard drive will have three partitions, 250g, 125g, 125g
I want to have it so when I plug this thing in, it will automatically back up any new pics or video... Not the whole computer, just the pics and vids.

I can't be the first guy to need this, any suggestions?

Seagate has some software for this.

I can't give the software any recommendation as I've never used it. But I like their hard drives. Very dependable and you get a lot of bang for your buck. I don't know of the "experts" at Bestbuy could provide better insight or not.

Good luck!

Aren't those little thumb drives the way to go for lots of room, yet small device?  I've only had one with PK info on it, but has tons of stuff and diagrams and some ware history and other things added on it. cheap too!  Not sure on adding stuff to it or if would have to be all redone at one time?  No puter guru here you know!
