Are you ready for winter?  With the late fall I have time to get caught up on my snow tractors.  Currently the Case is in for a slack rear tire and a front snow shield.  Then I will mount wheel weights on the Deere that should be it.

Here's a pic of my winter rigs, let's see yours!

Case 444 w/snowcaster

Deere 300 w/54 plow 4-way hydraulics

Behind them is my truck plow.  Not the same status as an old Farm Tractor but I don't have the room or shop to keep one of those running.

Thanks to the members here who pointed me to the hydraulic lift of the old Deeres and helped me to fix it once I found one.

Supposed to be 60 degrees by the weekend here!

The machines are waiting, I'll take these high temps all winter compared to what we went though last year!

High 40's here the rest of the week.  Nice for us humans but sure hard on the trees as they don't know what season it is.  Couple weeks ago we had lilacs blooming a few blooms.  Going to pay for it one way or another.  We need it to freeze up and stay froze for 2 months at least.

Last several years I used a 445 with blade and blower but could not pass up on this 4wd 22hp diesel with less than 900 hours so I switched allegiance. This is a commercial machine that weighs 1600 lbs with no attachments and has a 60" blade,52" blower and 60" deck.It does not however have a heated cab like my 445 did so that will be in the makings.
