Love the red Cubs !

CR had this 782 with I believe a Sears manual 3 point lift and plow adapted on with an electric actuator unit. I followed it a couple times. The actuator connecting point failed the test, but the rest plowed pretty well, not bad for the man that sold his regular plow tractor just before plow-day ! We talked and decided he needs to convince his wife that he needs some more red Cubs !

attachicon.gifSANY0033.JPG

The bottom mount broke on the actuator, but it was due to a mistake on my part.  I was so busy admiring my furrow I let the front end climb up to the right and put too much  side force against the actuator when I backed up and got square again.   I have a regular sears actuator that will go onto a 682 and get the 782 hydraulics hook to the three point. The whole plow day experience was a learning curve for us.  First time plowing with this tractor and 3 pt,  first plow day also.

First time getting the wife to plow also.

First time meeting several nice people.       ( yes Alan that includes you also)

As for convincing  the wife to get more red cubs,,  Everyone feel free to chime in and help,  she usually tunes me out unless I!'m talking about getting her a sewing machine!   Rick

Get her a machine to sew us up some seat covers!

There's always some issues that show up no matter how hard we prepare! I feel fortunate mine were easy fixes!

Kenny, your getting the plow day farther away from me. I need one closer to Maine so I might be able to attend. Hehe. Have to get a passport thou.
Doesn't seem to be anything in my area for garden tractor plow day. We have a plowing match, in August, for antique farm tractors, which I enter into to with my Ferguson tractor. Any way, hope your plow day works out for you.

Take your G.T. along,  plow them a nice straight furrow and show them what they are missing!

Well, it's "fits" you hahaha.

Man, what a year and half has done to your son, he looks so mature from the last time I saw him.
