Thanks Daniel for another great Plow Day! Great time was had by all. And Daniel got many furrows plowed himself! The chili was delicious as always! Thank you Teresa for that! We missed all you folks that couldn't make it. Brian (TD&H), I plowed a few for you!

Alice did great, hour meter has close to 8 hrs. on it, only had a half hour when I got there. So she did her share of plowing! I'm very happy with her performance. Hi gear was no problem! Not much tire spinning at all, just in a few very wet spots! Got to see some folks from the last time I attended and meet quite a few for the first time. Truly a great weekend! Hope to see all these fine folks again!

I'm so glad to hear that everyone had such a great time. I know that it would a great plow day as Daniel does such a fantastic job making it so much fun. I hope that next year, all of us that wanted to be there can make it. Thanks for keeping me in Y'alls thoughts as you threw a little dirt for me. And I know that I really missed out on some really fine chilli that Miss T make, some of the best I ever ate.

Yeah, I really missed you both! There's always next year.

Yea it was depressing not being able to be there.

Missed meeting you Marty.
Now you're going to have to drive to PA :D

I was hoping to come, I knew there was a lot of members Ive never met that was coming. My back was one reason I decided not to come, doubt I could make the drive to PA. at the moment.

Glad everyone had a good day, thanks to Daniel, he's always a great host.

MH81 was running a Suburban, pretty nice tractor. My wimpy shoulder wouldn't like the manual lift!

I don't actually mind the tractor breaking, just means I get a chance to make it better, and learn a bit about it.

Brian, I burned out the condensor on my 140. We haven't had the time to get Chris's up and running yet. I love my job, but plus the usual family stuff, plus trying to go to school full-time, has kept me perpetually behind!

Just pulled back in. We stopped at a Big Boy on the way back. Non of those left in Indiana.

It was an awesome weekend. My boy and I turned a ton of dirt and really worked out the tractors. Had one blip with the 420 carb getting a little junk in the needle valve but was easily fixed early Saturday morning.

Thank you Daniel and Theresa for a great weekend and an amazing lunch. It was great to see some old faces and meet lots of new ones. We missed all who couldn't make it and hope to see ya next year!

Eric

Catching up on a few posts while sitting at Wendy's eating dinner. Yes, at 10:30 pm lol. Still have another hour until I land in my driveway, but worth every mile I drove (and others) to have this plow day. I very much enjoyed the conversations as much as the plowing, once Kenny had my plow dialed in. My plow hasnt seen this much work since built, and had to be hooked to Alice just to get it broke in (shined up) before my New Holland took the reins and turned dirt like a champ.

Alan definitely has to talk his wife into buying him a real tractor such as Alice, Hogzilla, or my New Holland. I will post some pics when I get home though. Great chili too!

Couple of pics from plow day.
Alan trying out the New Holland, and then running his Sears. This was before he ran Alice and Hogzilla. He likes the hydraulic lift and comfy seat. :D

Also, a picture of the 2-8-4 Berkshire engine at the Kentucky Railway Museum just up the road from Daniel. I spent 15 minutes there and will be making sure I schedule more days next year to go through the museum.
