I got lucky and have borrowed a single axle trailer for the trip! Won't be so compressed with packing it all in!

I got the 2 wagons loaded with straw moved today and took 2 buckets of gravel and put where the wagons were.  It will need some minor raking Friday.  It will make a good place to put the tables and such and should provide some wind break as it may be near 20mph Saturday.  I bought a 12x12 canopy over 3 years ago and haven't gotten to use it yet due to winds every year.

Usually I don't like people coming to my event having to help do anything, but with how things have been going for me, I'll gladly accept help this year.  I will be returning to work in the morning, working Thursday, then off for the plow days.

A bit of bittersweet news.....Mom won't be spending any of plow days with us, as a room became available at our local nursing home, and she is going in tomorrow morning.  While we desperately needed full time care, I had hoped she could spend a few minutes with us, but then with the temps being cool and windy, it probably wouldn't have been the best for her anyway.  Dad is looking forward to spending time with us though, and told me last night that all you guys were among the nicest people he has ever met!

I'm bringing my 12'X12' canopy. I have weights made for it, but have to see how hard the wind is blowing! I'm also bringing a bunch of tools in case the need arises!

Well, for the second year in a row, because of family medical issues I will not be able to come to this year's plow day. My wife woke up this morning with issue that has to be operated on tomorrow. There's no way I can leave with her layed up.

I am really disappointed that I can't be there again, but I guess we will plan on making it next year. I will plan a trip in a couple weeks to Daniel's to pick up my stuff that is being dropped off there along with the other stuff he has been keeping for me.

I am definitely disappointed for you and for me that you have to miss 2 plow days in a row Brian, but Joey needs you and definitely comes first without question.  I look forward to when you come up later on though.  Maybe there will be a plow day later in the year you can make it to for a "dirt tossing fix".

Bringing the RV, and there's a canopy in it if we need it as well. We'll be there by tomorrow night.

...   Usually I don't like people coming to my event having to help do anything,  ...

Shucks Dan'l, for a lot of people helping out at these events is a good part of the fun :D :D :D

BTW, I'm sitting in a campground in Waynesboro, VA right now.

Hoping to get the HDT1000 picked up today.

Good Lord willing, and the creeks don't rise, I'll be there with bells on  :D :D :D
