Working on my hitch this weekend. I'm a horrible welder, so I may be giving dropped82 a run for the busted weld trophy! Let me know if there aren't enough bodies to get things done Friday, I'll see if I can get off to help.

Went to urgent care and found I have a FULL BLOWN case of flu. Chest xrays show no pneumonia though. Dr said both ears, sinus, and throat are an inflamed mess. Waiting on prescriptions.

Rest tomorrow!  I don't want to come to plow day and find out you are in the hospital!

I think the design of the hitch just uses the weld to hold things in place, the real loads are on solid steel. But, I really am a bad welder, so who knows!

Sounds rough, take care of yourself! Don't need this on top of the neck stuff, plus all you do regularly.

Me neither!

Take it easy Daniel. We can wait a week if we have to. Your health is more important

I get less than 2 hours sleep at a time.  Last shuteye was 1 1/2hrs.  Temp is 102.5 at the moment.  Due to my blood thinners, they didn't want to give me antibiotics, so basically all the Tamiflu does is stop me from being contagious, which is great for you guys!  But I guess I have to muddle through this with just Tylenol.

As far as plow day, if I do any plowing at all, it will likely be Friday as things are a bit busy on Saturday, and I figure I'll still be on the slow side.

As tough as you are Daniel, you will have this flu kicked by Thursday no problem.

I'm not nearly as tough as I am stupid when it comes to my health.  Teresa always tells me to pull in the reins when I'm sick, but the bull-headed in me takes over till I run myself completely down.  I'm pretty much at that point now.  But there will be plow day, you an count on that.

I too hate taking a day off for being sick. I once had a nagging cough for over a week before the boss looked at me and said, "You better get that checked out, I dont think it will just go away like you think." Turned out I had bronchitis, or something like that and needed medication lol.

I left that out, but I do have a touch of bronchitis.  Prescribed an inhaler and gave me a breathing treatment right then.  My boss did say the other day I needed to be checked out.

Ah yes, when it hits, its everything. You should have it all kicked soon enough.

Grandpa does breathing treatments for a recurring cough. Goes away until he says..."It's gone so I can stop these treatments." Took several months to convince him it works best to keep doing the treatments.

You may also have Tractor Fever, but that is incurable. :poke:

The love of tractors is waning a little bit, but I do know that's just a temporary insanity type thing and it too will pass as soon as I enjoy waking to another day.
