Google maps does show the right location.
Here's the map from Hodgenville to the plow day

Daniel, Mapquest shows the wrong location for that address.
The first photo is your Dad's place where we are plowing at.
The second photo is where Mapquest says the location is, south of about a mile?
Actually, the Mapquest one show Dad's place about a mile south of MY home, so it's about 3 miles off!

My nephew called to reserve a room and the guy he spoke with said no discount.
He said he had no knowledge of a GTTalk Ball Hollow plow day discount.
He said there had to be a confirmation number???????????
Anybody else have any issues getting the discount?
My nephew just sent me the confirmation and the rate is $99.99.
That's not gonna work.

Again this year the "Days Inn of Ezilabethtown, KY" has been good enough to give ALL GTtalk members attending the plow day a discounted rate.MAKE SURE TO MENTION "GTtalk" to get this discounted rate!!
This year's rate is $60.00 plus tax for a total of $67.80 per night for any and all nights starting Thursday, March 31st though Sunday, April the 3rd. Regular rate is 91.66 for that time of year, so we get around a 33% discount.
Also something new this year, you can receive a 10% discount on your restaurant bill at the following restaurants by presenting your room key envelope when you pay your bill.
Here are the restaurants that offer the 10% discount,
Denny's, located at the Days Inn
Texas Road House
Texas Outlaw Barbeque
Ruby Tuesdays
Shoney's
Here is the contact info;

I have stayed there a few times now and it has always been a nice clean hotel with well lighted parking lot. They offer both smoking and non-smoking rooms, both single queen and double queens with Micro and refrigerator.

Plow Day WILL take place no matter what is going on here. If we get rained out on the first date, we'll push it back a week at a time till we get to turn dirt. But I have mentioned gathering as many Bush Hog GT's as possible to do a "plow line pic of hogs". That I can't live up to, as I may only have 2 of my tractors out there this year. Simply too much going on in my life at the moment to get my Hogs ready. I fired up my JBI with the TJD engine today after having to clean the mag points only to find my throttle cable is seized. I just don't have the time to do repairs. Scott (sacsr) can't make it with any of his Hogs as it's his busiest time of year in his job. If we end up with a few though, we'll get a pic of what we can.
But the rest of the event will go on!

If you have a throttle cable for it, I will fix it Friday morning! That would be a great pic for sure! I think Alice will be drooling to get close to Hogzilla!
