I thought I should start a new thread for the upcoming plow day.  I am tentatively setting the date for April 2nd.  The fields will be available Friday April 1st, with the main day being Saturday.  Subject to change due to weather of course.  Rain date would be the following weekend, April 8th & 9th.  If it's a really wet spring, we will have a few chances before my cropland lessee will be planting beans, as he won't plant till in May.  So surely we'll get to have a plow day.

Last year Brinly donated a 10" sleeve plow to give away, but I have purchased a NOS 10" Brinly sleeve hitch plow myself to give to the lucky name drawn.  Hoping to have several other small door prizes.

We will be having a chili meal around noon, all food & drinks provided free of charge.  No gate fee either, but a donation bucket will be available if anyone wants to help out with expenses.  Absolutely no requirement to donate!

Please, no alcoholic drinks.   We want fun & safety at the top of the list.  No tractor is required to come either, so come join the fun.

We will also be trying to get as many Bush Hog GT owners to bring their tractors.  Maybe we can get a group pic of the most Bush Hog tractors ever together in a plow line.

Oh, and the zip code is 42748 to get an idea as to travel times.  As we get nearer to plow day I will post the full address.

Won't be making the move this year but I'm going to see if I can talk my uncle into a road trip. He might be willing just so he can stock up on Ale-8.

Less than a 4 hour drive, probably won't have a tractor ready but seriously considering it just to observe and visit. Marked it on my calendar

Member "Lauber1", Jeff is from Iowa and came to my 1st ever plow day.  You could come plow, see where Abe Lincoln was born (10 miles away), then go see Mammoth Cave, just 50 miles away.

I plan to come again this year, made the first one (as long as health and job don't get in the way I'll be there) Eyesight is about as good as it will get per Dr's so I can drive. It is MUCH better in daylight. Job is currently not an issue because they let me go while going thru surgeries....so money maybe an issue but Daniels is the place !!

Thanks for offering to host
