I have a massey ferguson 832 rer that i recently recieved from my grandfather.I got it running with just some fresh gas spark plug and carb cleaning. It is in great shape but is missing the deck and a wheel has rusted through.I dont really have much use for this tractor but im sure it must be rare.I was just wondering what it might be worth.I have 2 snapper rers and 2 newer lawn tractors so not much use for this one.I will be posting pics soon(i need someone to do that for me).Any help with what this thing may be worth would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Adam

Welcome to GTT. When the pics are posted we can get an idea of what you have. Pricing is very difficult because it varies by area of the country. Rare does not mean valuable. Some rare things are too difficult to bother with or just aren't interesting. Good Luck, Rick

I don't know how old it is but considering it's age I think it's all original.I have seen some that look to be restored as I was scanning the Internet. Some had modified exhaust and gas tanks and I'm not certain but this one looks original.

It looks the same as my MF6. The engine does not look correct. It looks like you have a breather tube coming off the carb that is set to catch water.  The front wheel rusting seemed to happen to some of them(including mine). Without the deck and the way the engine looks I don't see much value to it. Mine has the two blade deck. That is what I see as the main value to mine. I figure complete and running mine is only worth about $250 in CT. They are a fun little machine to scoot around on. It is a neet butt buggy if you take it to shows. I think there is a manual for it in the Manuals Section. Good Luck, Rick

Thanks for the reply.I guess I will just hold on to it and hopefully fix it up someday even if it requires customization to make parts.it would be nice to see what people have done with theirs.thanks adam
