Bargain for someone!  Dan Lonnen over on simpletractors has had the pulley/bracket reproduced, that allows this sickle to operate using the tractor's lift system.

This intrigues me a little as I have been searching for something to mow banks with.  How long is the bar on it?

That just mat be long enough.  I have a creek bank along the yard at my mother in laws house that creeps into the yard as the season goes.  After a month I can't tell where the yard ends and the bank starts.  Bank is steep and also the edge of the yard so getting over the edge would equal a rolled over mower and an injured or dead me.  I was mocking up a design for a boom mower that I was going to build that would reach 6-8 ft but this could work as well too.  Now to get the wife on board.

Would this fit my 3012? If yes, What parts would I need to have to mount it? I have the hydro lift on mine.
