Currently sitting in an admissions office while they give my son an interview.
Good school, hope he is on his game and makes a good impression.

Nervous Dad here, if you have a sec, please send Ryan a couple positive thoughts.

Good Luck to Ryan. With the cost of colleges these days, state schools are usually the best deal for your money. Starting at a community college can ease the transition from high school to college level work. They also save alot. Too many people are spending fortunes on degrees that won't pay back. Be skeptical about schools claims for employment after graduation. Good Luck, Rick

Funny you should post about looking at Colleges today.  It was 2 years ago today we went with our granddaughter to view Mercer and for her to have her interviews for scholarships and check out the campus.  Today she was on the other side of the coin giving tours of the campus and helping families find their way around.  Alan, we waited out in the car and kind of drove around while she did her interviews.  That mad it a little better because we could talk about other things.  I'll never forget the look on her face when she came out of the interview, she was so excited and happy and thought she did well.  As we found out later she did a 5 year full ride.

Ryan you can do the same, some effort and determination go along way.  Wishing you the best on which ever school you choose.

I never toured the college I went to, I just showed up and they let me in lol. Too bad I had to figure out their goofy classroom numbering system on day one... I swear they do that to weed out the stupid students lol.

Thanks guys,
We toured Grove City College today.
One of a handful of schools that do their own financial aid to keep the fed out of education there.
Well spoken of, have a good electronics program, 15 to one ratio. Ryan has mixed emotions. We have it in the top three so far and will have to go back during the week to see the electronics classrooms in detail.

The 11th is Penn State.
