Was thinking a zero-turn, duh!  DR mower, oK, got that now. That bracket for weights looks pretty good, wonder if you can get one? Kinda like the ones on my old Speedex on the front. With that idea now, you could probly make some that fit your tractor with correct holes and width. Still don't think you would need all those tho. Heck, make side brackets like the big Pullers do on their tractors!

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but didn't want to post another along the same lines. I've been looking for some counter weights for my loader project. My girlfriend is big on the resale shops, so I asked her to watch for some old barbells for cheap. She did me one better-- a Gold's Gym. Came with 350 pounds of stackable weights and some nice 2x2 steel for my scrap pile. $40. :)

I'm looking for some weight machine weights myself for the front of my Snapper 1855.  How much does each of those rectangular weights from the machine weigh and about how thick are they?  I'm thinking I could do 3 or 4 on the front.

These are roughly 5" x 10" x 1" and 10 pounds each.

Those are a good size for you to use on the front of the tractor.  Thanks for that info, I looked all over online for dimensions, but couldn't find anything.
