The nice part is having all the notes and receipts from the original restore in 2009, no guess work buying replacements. With the drive belt removed, the clutch and idler pulleys spin good, very little slop, I'll leave them in place. I will pressure wash underneath the frame before I re-install the deck later on.

Yes, I should have pressure washed before the re-fresh, I have been vacuuming crud every time I touched something underneath. At least it is a dry and crumbly crud, and not wet and gooey mess. :D

Brandon, Is that the blade? Wow!. I think I am done for the day. I "tried" to install the new belt, all was fine till I tried to get it over the back pulley. It seemed too short at 92" but I had a receipt from 12/12/2009 showing a "1/2 X 92" After fighting for a while I looked at the receipt again, DUH :wallbanging:  , I had exchanged the 92" for a 94" and didn't catch the (-) in front of the returned belt, and didn't look lower to see the 94" replacement. Soooooooo, Now I have identical exchange receipts almost six years apart.

I did get the fuel line and filter installed, and the airfilter.

OOOOOOOPPPPPPPPSSSSSSS!

I could have omitted that post and kept going..... But I was so proud that I kept the receipts so to get the correct parts. The receipts (both of them) have been marked with the correct belt now. Popped my bubble. :smilewink:

94" belt installed, fits perfect. Now for the deck, and I will double check the belt receipt for it..

Belt and fuel lines and filter installed. Had help installing the rear deck, but needed to test the bounciness / spinning's of the shifter ball. I introduced the use of the torque wrench. Wrench set to 30 and he struggled to get the click, but I don't have to double check them now.

Still need to service the deck, and replace the battery.

Looks like the helper is getting things all figured out. I like the seat warmer.

I should have done this first, but it was too wet outside. Beautiful day here, I power washed Red from top to bottom, swapped batteries around and I still have to charge it to get Hulk II to start. It gives me one good shot before no crank, the smallest kick back kills the battery, so when I go to Get Red's new battery, I might pick up two. Both batteries are 2010 vintage NeverStart brand. Guess I did good for 5 years on these. Old Girl enjoying the out doors.
