So far, the only reason I wanted it was to groom around a pond we dug last fall.
I started at it last Friday, but very soon, found it getting spongey. gonna have
to wait some more.

That is a very neat way to make a box blade. You have rippers to break up the dirt and the box to smooth back out. I like it. Now to find a cultivator around these parts.
