My guess would be a vertical shaft engine, although I am not familiar with that model so I could be mistaken.

All the "Y" models I've seen were vertical engines.

Started pulling this thing apart today.......The throttle shaft on the carb is seized, so its in a bucket of varsol for a few days...hope to loosen it up.....Electrically, it seems good....starter turns the engine, and it has spark, at the coil anyways........spark flying all over, I think the top is cracked, cant see a crack. The engine has compression when I am spinning it with the starter....THe gas tak has a small hole in the bottom......and some rust inside...so, If I can get the carb operational, it should run.

HPIM1115..jpg Here are some close up pics of the LGT120 with a 12 hp Kohler, thanks for the comments. It's been hooked to a pulling sled at CVAEM for the fun pull twice. It's a sweetheart going down the track. I need some more pictures of my old 120

Thought I would ad my LGT 195 that I picked up 7-3-2010. It has the 20HP Kohler, 60" deck, 15" rear tires and 3-point hitch. Plan on doing a full restore. I also have a few extra parts that I would sale if anybody needed them.

Nice ford, Welcome to GT Talk.

I would love to have a 195. I look forward to more pictures as you restore it.
