Little low on price with the high quality restoration...
But I suppose you could always repaint it again.
At first, I thought it was Don Campbell's...

I'm kidding, of course. At least they saved it from an uncertain fate even if they messed up the colors.

An FF24, they're not real plentiful and plenty nice enough without trying to morph it into a bastard.

Oversized rears?  They are stock size!  Front floaters?  Look like ordinary turf savers to me.  "Complete rebuilt Onan"........ likely just had new spark plugs put in, then a coat of spray paint.   :(

At least they did state the real make/model instead of trying to pass it off as a John Deere.

I'm sitting here trying to wrap my mind around just what possesses so many JD lovers to slather green and yellow paint and JD decals over any and everything in sight.

Why is it that they feel that it's OK to desecrate some other brand of tractor or implement?

How many of them would approve of someone painting a JD in Bolens colors and putting Bolens decals on it?

I don't have anything against JD equipment, but to be frank, I will NEVER own one just because of the actions of way too many JD lovers, and I don't want to be associated with them in any way.

I died a little bit on the inside when I see the colors but this post right here is what Ive been saying all along. People will paint anything and everything green and yellow. You know how many cubs ive seen painted in jd green and yellow and YET have enough of you know what to put the john deere decals on the side of the hood to make it "resemble" a deere? Its very sickening. Im sorry I dont mean to offend anyone but it just kills me inside when someone does that. I think maybe because they dont have a jd or can afford one they paint their gt that way so they feel they really have something when they dont.

There was an IH farm tractor back in the area of PA I grew up in that was painted green and yellow.  The story goes the local IH dealer was giving the farmer crap about something with this tractor, so the local JD dealer said they'd work on it, but only if he painted it green and yellow, the tractor stayed that way until somewhere between 10 and 20 years ago when it was restored to its proper colors.

John Deere makes some great products and they did a great marketing job and thus outlasted many other brands, much like GM, Ford and Chrysler. But I don't want to get too far off topic. Many JD owners remind me of late model Corvette owners.

I think it's a shame what someone did to this for colors, but I didnt want to drag Deere lovers into this.
It's probably not a Deere aficionado, but someone who thought it would be fun or funny.
Or possibly, as the price indicates, raise the value.

I'm not so much bothered by the color as I am all the holes he drilled for the lights & such! Where they are makes it ugly.

One thing that has always puzzled me is these custom jobs people do then try and re-sell them, They would actually get more money leaving it original and rusty than to get a mop and slather paint over rust or do something like this to that poor machine.

[insert] throw up emoticon[insert]

I am with OB, why, why why.

My son was in Hocking Hills last weekend, took this picture. He said there were vehicles everywhere at this place, everyone of them had odd ball extra parts attached to them.

I told him, "Lucky you, you will be living there for 3 yrs going to college".

I got the stink eye. LOL
