I've cut back to the ones I actually use:

Garden tractor;   one,  1980- JD 314

  Lawn tractor;       one,  1970- JD 70 I

I know, these two aren't GT's, but not much bigger!   :D

Farm tractor;       one,  1953- JD 40S

  Compact tractor; one,  2004-JD 790

I practically have a lawnmower junkyard spread out throughout the county.

About 23 pretty complete and runnable or near runnable but needing TLC.

About 13 more that are pretty complete but need major repairs completed.

About two completely torn down for restoration one 85% done (as of 7 years ago) and one 40 % done (haven't touched for 6 years).

About 10 more parts units and two walk behinds.

So I guess that's around 48. Have had many others in the past and parted a few out.

We have 12 cubs now. Sold the 2 deeres. sold the PK. sold the ariens. sold the 3 basket case cubs.

We thinned down a bit. Dad wanted to buy something and I wanted some extra cash in my toy fund. We made sure we found good homes for the 110 round fenders. The PK went to a guy who owned all the PK attachments but no PK. And the cubs went to a guy who was restoring a couple similar cubs.

We have agreed we are pretty much done restoring and playing with tractors for now. When my son gets older we will pick up a nice GT up and do a father son grandpa restore with him.

15 GT's (4 Massey, 9 Bush Hogs, 1 Allis, 1 Bolens).   Then one Troy Bilt LT, and two John Deere F935 front mowers.

Did you sell the JD 430?

I have fewer GT's than I do pairs of boots and I dont wear half of them. Sold all but the 2 big ones I use for work, a restomod LGT100 with a lift kit/ speed mod, a ZTR for mowing the yard and an LT for mowing the lake. Too many hoarders and CL loonies around here, not much to buy at a REAL price, so I quit buying and sold off what I didnt need. ( and bought something that wont take 3 hrs to push snow on the driveway)
