I'm no b one expert but that doesn't look right why is the hood so tilted? It's for sale on a Facebook ac group guy wants 250 for it non running if you look closely you can see there's a giant chunk missing out of the side of the hood and the grille isnt lined up. poor b one glad mines not that bad. The only decent part in that one is the seat I should offer to buy that lol

I got one already I'm just wondering why the hood is like that. Mine will have a new bevel gear box.

that is one rough B1. one possibility that the hood is like that is maybe since on a b1 you push the front down last when you close the hood. not sure if maybe the hood just isnt closed the whole way.

sad poor thing. Looks like it would be a nice tractor if it wasn't shot.

Seems like a dash or other upright structure is either missing or very damaged for drop of that much?  I don't know the models of tractor, so not sure what others have or look like.  Never cared for those early Simple tractors or whatever name is on them.

This is what it's supposed to look like. Someone crammed a 9 plus HP Briggs in that B1. If you tried to push down the front of the hood, the hood would hit the starter generator. This wouldn't happen with the original Briggs model 19 or 19D engine.

Thanks orange appeal. Wells Implement sells the seat cushions along with some other vendors. I haven't tried matching the paint on the B1, but I'm sure that there is some info out there on the subject.

Wells implement thabks that should help. As far as paint you go to any allis show and there's alwaay about 8 variations of orange so you'll never get it spot on I just want it too look at least somewhat like yours specially if I want to take it to the 25 anniversary of orange spectacular.

My B1 is still wearing it's original paint job, so I haven't looked for paint that matches. The only parts not in original paint are the muffler and wheel weights. I spent quite a bit of time cleaning this tractor up and I rebuilt the engine. The sun fades the paint over time, so the only way to match the paint perfectly, is to remove a part that has been covered up and have a paint store match it.
