:thumbs:Nice rig, True funny story about a local girl running a Peterbuilt triaxle dump. We sent a smart butt guy from Penndot over to make small talk with her,(She's A GOOD looker) He started his conversation as how do you like your Peterbuilt? Her answer was priceless! About 6" and this big around! He did not say a word the rest of the day.:rofl2:

I remember when "10-4 good buddy" was a good thing, now a days all of the weirdos on the cb have ruined that line. Now it is offensive to say 10-4 good buddy to anyone LOL.

The other saying you would hear a lot too is "Keep the lot lizards off the welcome mat"

yeah calling someone a good buddy now days is a good way to get a thumper across the head..

id like to see that flat top i dont know how them guys with those ol flats are making it with this fuel like it is.

Fuel economy definitely wasn't a good thing pulling a box but I pulled flatbed with a side kit on it and the top of the side kit was about a foot or so above the sleeper so it wasn't too bad. The other problem was with the wheelbase, it didn't matter how high the sleeper was, the wind still got in between the truck and trailer.

I sold the red pete to buy the blue pete and things were going really good. Switched to pulling flatbed and had to buy my own trailer. Things were going extremely well for the first year and a half and then the bosses wife who did the dispatching to find our backhauls passed away. Between that and the economy and the price of fuel I sold out and gave up. Went and drove for a local company delivering appliances and the lasted for about a year until I had to get my elbow operated on. Now I am an estimator and look at blueprints all day.
