Got a new Craftsman lawn sweeper for the 982 to play with.  Here's some pics of the maiden voyage.

Nice tractor and sweeper, I have always wanted a 982 great machines. My buddy has a sweeper like that and it does a good job, he got it for five bucks at a yard sale and my other neighbor spent two grand on a leaf vac, the five dollar unit puts that expensive deal to shame.

That's a great looking 982 and a sweet sweeper.  Nice set up.

I agree with Eric. I used a lawn sweeper for about 3 years. I came across a used leaf vac, so I bought it and used it one season. It would clog up a lot. Sold it and went back to the lawn sweeper. I run over the leaves with my riding mower first, and then again with the sweeper.

I love the looks of those tractors.  I know where there is one that did not sell at a consignment auction and has been sitting for a year now.  Need to catch the owner of the lot and see if I can con him out of it.  I know him well so might get lucky.  That is the next project.  Still working on that dad blamed S14D that don't want to fire.
