Having arthritis in the hands, the fingers do not always find the keys the mind tells them to.  Several times now I have been typing and suddenly the keyboard quits responding.  Only way I can get it back is to restart the system.  Using a Microsoft Natural curved keyboard.

It should be the down arrow, I messed up.

I was just jacking with you anyway. That is a trick I sometimes use on work computers on a friday before I go on vacation... it flips the screen up side down

I had one that would get a keyboard error, I would just bang it on the desk. Not sure if it was a loose connection or a stuck key, but it always fixed it.

.. and yes, I am bored. 2 more hours until weekend parole

I believe strongly in the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"  As long and it is working good why spend the $$ just to keep up with the Jones's.
Same goes for the "Smart Phones".  Darned if I am going to spend $100 a month just to have a toy that is obsolete before you get it home.

Nothing wrong with your hammer theory either.  In fact I was just looking for my 3 lb black smith's hammer but didn't locate it.  If that darn Wisconsin S14D don't start giving some spark and running it is going to feel the wrath of the hammer in my hands.

Good idea.  Never thought of that.  Need to sight in a couple scopes anyway and have a new cheap keyboard  I was given by computer tech.  Bought a bunch of them for $1 each on closeout.  If I use hollow point at about 30 yds. I should be able to wipe out about 4 keys at once if I hit in the right place.

Reminds me of a story..  A buddy's friend had a toaster that always burned his toast and he cursed the thing awfully for a loooong time..

Finally he got fed up with burnt toast and took the toaster out in the driveway and gave it the treatment discussed above..

He blasted it with a double barrel shotgun and then tossed it in the garbage can..  SO THERE!! :shoot2:

His wife and my buddy's wife were talking about and my buddy's wife came up with an idea..   :flipping_flapjacks:

They grabbed the blasted toaster out of the trash can and wrapped the thing up and gave it to him for Christmas!   :hitting_self_roller:  :loosing_it:

The look on his face when he opend it up was priceless and everyone busted a gut..

Lesson is:  If you take out your wrath, hide the evidence!!  :bigrofl:
