I believe NO is the answer. Check engine over, maybe a hole in block somewhere, KT17's bad reputation. I had one ran great on one side, other side blown and hole in block. Drove off the trailer, and later found NO oil in it. Was miracle it got off trailer. Seems like you have to remove big front shroud and side tins even to just reach a bolt or so?? Course, others find ways to do odd things against the norm, maybe that will be your chance, ha!
Was able to get to the starter by raising the front of the motor up with 2x4's but had some issues with bushing in driveshaft adapter when i tried to get engine back in place to bolt down
