Hello all,

I have an opportunity to buy a model 633 wheel horse, its not running at present,

owner says it has no spark. I was was wondering if this tractor would make a

good work tractor, mower deck looks great, tires are good and transmission will

shift through the gears, It is not rusty junk. I want to use it for mowing grass, plowing

snow and maybe putting a  mold board plow on it and/or disk. The price of $375.00 seems

a bit high for a non running tractor. Would appreciate some input from the forum.

Thanks Much,

Looks like a good machine. probably just needs the points cleaned. check the gears on the mower deck.
I can't complain about my 854. I bought it and set up to use. rear attachments are sleeve hitch.

Nice looking WH.

I agree, it may be a little high priced,  but then again location, supply & demand play a big part.

That may be a bit high but not outrageous. A very common problem with the transmission is popping out of 3rd gear under a load. You'll be needing 3rd to push snow. Unfortunately, with the motor not running you can't check it. If you do get it and find you have that problem it's not a hard fix but that pesky 3rd/2nd gear (#3523) can be a bit hard to find and pricy when you do find one.
