started up my mower to day and moved it in to some cover but when i started it i notic the engin was raben up so i move it and . i think my choke was broke

Not the choke if it's revving or is it surging and hunting the govenor

Sounds like maybe an air leak or possibly timing. What tractor and engine are we talking about?

He had a Ford 120 so it's a Kohler k301. I would check you cables and inspect them to see if they ate functioning like it should. I would also spend 15 bucks and buy a carb kit. It's a good time to go over your entire fuel system.

That being said I had a condenser do the same thing
