There has been a Simplicity 725 for sale nearby for a while that had a bunch of attachments with it. The seller sold the tractor with the sickle bar mower only, then went ahead and listed the attachments and cart separately for 250.00 for The lot. I gave him a call and picked everything up last night. The ID tags on the implements have the Simplicity part numbers, along with the Montgomery Wards part numbers on them. The Squire that I picked up last year came with the sickle bar attachment, tiller, and bolt together mower deck. everything is dusty and needs a good cleaning, but it's all in pretty good shape. The cart needs a little work and paint, and I'll replace the tires on the cart with wheelbarrow tires. The tires on the cart will go on my Baird Beaver tractor, since the ones on the tractor are dry rotted. The cultivator is missing the clamps for the gauge wheels, so I will need to look for two of those. If anyone has a pair of the clamps, please let me know. The cultivator for the Simplicity walk behind tractor will have the same clamps on it.

It was only a 40 minute drive, so it was well worth taking a ride. I recognized the seller, and it turned out that he runs the garden tractor pulls at a local show that I go to. He has a nice Cub Cadet original with the first model IH cart, a couple of JD's and a bunch of other big tractors. These two pulleys also came with the attachments. The broken pulley is one that I had and I was looking for a replacement. It's the crankshaft pulley for the engine when using the three belt snow thrower. I just have to install a new bearing in the good pulley and I'm all set. The bearing is the same as found in the mower deck arbors. The big pulley is for the drive on the transaxle and NLA.
